Hot on the (red, pleather) heels of NBC’s announcement that it has picked up David E. Kelley’s “Wonder Woman”-based television pilot, M.A.C. cosmetics just opened a pop-up store on Spring Street to exclusively sell its new “Wonder Woman”-inspired collection, a partnership with Warner Bros. Outfitted with giant renderings of the character and reproductions of vintage comic books, the space is the only place to shop the limited-edition line until Feb. 10, when it hits M.A.C. locations nationwide. Pick up a nail polish matched to the shade worn by the superhero, false lashes, reflex glitter pigments or a supersize Lipglass, all bearing the “Wonder Woman” logo. “There’s something about ‘Wonder Woman’ that speaks to a lot of generations,” says the creative director and senior vice president of M.A.C. worldwide, James Gager, pointing out that the character graced the premiere cover of Ms. Magazine. “She’s an icon.”(http://tmagazine.blogs.nytimes.com)
